Braille Education System for Blind

Braille is writing and reading system for blind people or for those who visually impaired. In 1824, Louis Braille who lost his eyesight due to a childhood accident introduced this method in France.
Braille written on embossed paper and each alphabet mark by raised dots. The number and display of these dots are different one character from another.  Braille characters are based on different arrangement of six dots. Each character is appeared by removing one or more dot from the basic configuration, it helps the reader to identify each character from the others by the number and position of remaining dots. The first 10 characters indicate both, letter and numbers like a=1, b=2, c=3…j=0.

A machine called a Braille writer was introduced to produce Braille mechanically in 1942. To give attention and importance Braille education for blinds, an organization was founded in United states called National Federation for the Blind in 1940. It is largest foundation for low-vision or blind people in United States.
